Work with us

What we offer

We work with organisations, communities, and funders who want to understand the economic challenges facing people today and take practical steps toward something better. Our services are currently in development and we are taking early enquiries. If something here resonates, get in touch and let’s explore what we might do together.

Community Financial Literacy Workshops

Short, practical sessions of typically two to three hours helping people understand how the financial and monetary system works, why it so often works against them, and what can be done about it. Accessible, jargon-free, and designed for real communities rather than lecture halls.

Best for: community organisations, local authorities, charities, and employers wanting to build confidence and understanding among the people they serve.

Economic Literacy for Community Action

Half-day to full-day events that go further. Framing economic understanding as the foundation for community organising and advocacy. Participants leave able to challenge economic orthodoxy, articulate alternative models, and take action for change. This is where understanding becomes power.

Best for: community organisations, campaigning groups, and local authorities building civic capacity and community voice.

Climate, Economy & Resilience

Connect the dots between the climate transition, household financial security, and community resilience. What does net zero actually mean for people’s budgets? How does monetary policy affect investment in a just transition? What can communities do to advocate for climate justice through an economic lens? These sessions bring those questions to life.

Best for: organisations working at the intersection of climate action and community resilience, and funders seeking to build grassroots understanding of the economic dimensions of climate change.

Research and Alternative Performance Indicators

We work with communities and organisations to develop better measures of progress that reflect what people actually need to thrive. Rather than relying on GDP or purely financial metrics, we help identify and measure things that matter: inequality, job quality, access to green space, local resource independence, and household financial security.

Best for: local authorities, funders, and community organisations needing evidence to inform decisions, demonstrate impact, or make the case for investment.

Speaking and Events

Our directors are available to speak at conferences, community events, and organisational away-days on the economics of resilience, wellbeing economies, community wealth building, and why the dominant growth narrative needs to change — and what comes next.

Best for: event organisers, networks, and funders looking for informed, engaging speakers who can shift perspective and spark new conversations.

Not sure where to start?

That’s fine. Most of our best conversations begin with “we’re not sure what we need yet”. Contact us and we’ll work it out together.
